small sums can be spent on hotel room, hotel dining, bathing, gambling, and fast travel things like stage coaches and train rides (your horse will travel with you).
and trought story
The only things you will REALLY want to spend money on are:
- buying and upgrading weapons
- a good horse
- a decent saddle and stirrups (to reduce your stamina drain rate and boost your speed, respectively)
- reinforced gear from the trapper (to unlock bonus stat points)
After that, you can upgrade the gang's camp. Which really serves little purpose other than adding a few conveniences like some extra ammo, tonics, and a fast travel point.
Everything else is either a cosmetic or minor convenience.
You'll probably end up with far more money than you can spend by the end of the game.
this is a good list.
although i think "saddle and stirrups" are more important than a good horse.
and upgrading the camp to get improved satchels is also a good idea, and again, might be more important than a better horse (maybe just a preference for me).
otherwise, spot on.
Good point. I forgot you needed a camp upgrade before you could start making satchels. That's definitely something you want to spend money on. Getting the best satchel was something I made a priority of so early in the game that I completely forgot it was something you had to do. :P
