Female protagonist??

Hello. As the title suggests, I think it is beyond prudent to add an option for a FEMALE protagionist. The fact she isn't represented in the story if you wish it is offensive. Please add an option immediately if you want to increase sales. Thank you.

Well actually Online Mode DOES have a Story; it's just different.
It's also all a prequel to the Story regarding Van-der Linde Gang

Playing as a female in Story Mode Single Player would not work in this particular game because the Story has been fore-told centering around Arthur and John. The Story Mode would not magically work if you just stick a female character in the place of Arthur and/or John.

i rocked a female main to about level 400 or so.
i honestly liked using her more than arthur.
i used to joke that i was a 17 year 364 day 59 minute old transgender.
cause my voice is deeper than barry white in rl.
sometimes i would keep my mouth shut and lore the pervs into the woods or the mountains.
and kill them repeatedly until they left the server.

Go play through the latest Tomb Raider trilogy if you want to play a good female protagonist based game. Or the Hoizon series.

I mean, there’s nothing wrong with wanting a female character option. Plenty of games offer male/female characters who for all intents-and-purposes are basically the same character (such as V from Cyberpunk 2077).

However, getting back to the original poster’s comments, there’s no chance Rockstar is going to add a female character option to the single player story. For one, this game is nearly 5 years old now, Rockstar has moved on to other projects, and for another Rockstar has completely abandoned this game and its online mode.

Maybe it’ll be a feature in RDR3, but it’s definitely never coming to RDR2.

THANK YOU for acknolledgeing that there is NOTHING wrong with this. Way too many people getting stuck up on TALKING POINTS instead of trying to see everyone elses point of view. I ask, why do we NOT want a women? The only reasons are BAD and the people who disagree are the ones REACTIONARY to the change of the world. fortunately women are starting to RULE the roost and just because we want to see it REFLECTED is a great thing indeed. I tried the tomb raider and she was GREAT. Thank you for suggestioning this to everyone. Lara Croft would be better in MORE games, including this one. smh
