Freezes "Fine joys of Tobacco"

Has anyone experience crashed on this mission? I have tried to restart my PC and make sure the my NVIDIA driver is up to day.

Try lowering your graphics settings for the mission.

If it works you can turn them back up later.

Happened to me aswell, switching over to dx12 solved it for me

Yeah, Game kept freezing right after i caught the fields on fire. Tried lowering graphics, re downloading, jumping through checkpoints. I finally changed graphics to directx 12 and changed screen to windowed AND IT WORKED!

seriously? what year are we living in where we have to tell our machines to behave like older out of date models in order to play current gen games? how R-word-ed is that?! go scr3w, Rockstar.

If you had to lower the graphics settings; chances are that before you were simply using settings that was too close to the max available VRAM.

Switching from Vulkan to DX12 is not a given fix. As that can vary depending on the GPU you have. The game was meant to run in Borderless Window anyways and does do well when ran in Full Screen.
