Horse core drain rate

Don't know if i am imagining this, when you stand still with the horse the health and stamina core is supposed to regen to 100% yes? Both cores are currently steadily going down and i have to feed the horse to replenish the cores. I swear it used to regen to 100% by itself now it just doesn't. Thinking mods have bricked my game somehow or am i tripping

Health "BAR" and "Stamina "BAR" aromatically regenerate if the health and stamina "Cores" are full
Cores get depleted as you or your horse get hungry

I must've imagined it, the horse cores act the same as arthurs right? makes sense it would deplete

It's the same for all characters , online or offline
You can only decrease the drain rate for horse cores using a better saddle and trinkets

Never Cores, just the outer bar.
Cores must be replenished by food, tonic, herbs, or sleeping.

To help keep Horse Cores up, spend more time while riding him/her Calming them and Brushing them. It even tells you that if you continue to allow Horse to be dirty, the health core will lower faster over time.

Overall it's not a big deal because you can literally play the game using the same horse all day long and the cores will never go down into the red. Unless you do something foolish and have the horse go through a near-death experience or get badly injured.

What they should have done also was have various types of horse shoes as well. They had this in Kingdom Come Deliverance
