Bug with the "It's Art" achievement
When I pick up the stuffed squirrel on the mountain, the achievement does not unlock.

I saved before I picked it up on the mountain. I loaded again and again, but I can't get the achievement. At one point there were 2 stuffed squirrels over the fireplace at all, lol

Has anyone encountered this or maybe know how to solve this problem?

Did you do this though???

Visit Mrs. Hobbs and you will be treated to a cutscene and get a reward which is a Gunslinging Squirrel. Now take it back to Beaches Hope and place it atop the Fireplace in the living room. Abigail isn't a fan. Now leave the ranch and set up your campfire and wait a day or so then return to the ranch. You'll need to do this multiple times so I recommend after each step sleeping some more and if you can't sleep, use either the blackwater coach and travel to Annesburg or quit the game and load back in.

The following locations are where the Squirrel can be found:
- John's Room inside a chest.
- John's Room inside a Fireplace.
- Uncles Room inside a chest in the attic which can be accessed by using the ladder in the kitchen.
- Outside in a wheelbarrow in the sheep pen.
- Outside in the barn in a chest on the upper level.
- Waaaaaay north on the top of Mount Shann.

You will unlock the Achievement after picking it up again for the final time.

Yes, of course. The only place I didn't have a squirrel was the fireplace in John's room. I've found it in all the places you listed except the fireplace, but I can pick up a squirrel from the mountains

I watched the video guides on this achievement. After the authors of the video pick up the squirrel from the mountain, the achievement opens. But for me, nothing happens.

Well then you might need to go outside, setup camp fire and sleep for the max allowed time period, then come back and check again.

You might not have seen the popup. Did you double check your achievements in your SocialClub account? Sometimes it won't show there until the game js restarted because often times running game for a lengthy period loses online connection to SocialClub. If you really got the achievement it should show in Steam

I've had many instances where it only showed the achievement in Steam. But because of losing connection to SocialClub it wouldn't show in my Rockstar account until after I restart the game.

I understand, I had it with Max Payne 3. But I have this situation now, maybe that's why I don't get the "It's Art" achievement.

I have 5 achievements left in story mode and none of them unlock. That is, the achievement at 100% in steam shows a progress of 89%, although in the game itself I already have 94%
And the progress of gold medals in steem is not displayed as it is in the game itself.
Can all this be due to the fact that I, after passing the game, having fun with Rampage Trainer?

There is a difference in game between 100% story vs 100% game achievements.

For example one achievement requires you to visit the various grave sites.

A couple that aren't so easy are...

> The 18 bear attacks.
> 70 Gold Medals
> 100% Stanger mission side quests

Plus if you want a full 100% going by the achievements listings you'd need to do the RDO ones as well.

Yes, I understand. I'm talking about achievements in story mode. The Steam shows that I got 89%, but inside the game, in the menu, it says that I got 94% of the game.

Also, there's an achievement where you have to survive three days with a bounty on my head of over $250 in all states. I met the conditions for the achievement, even more than three days passed, but I did not get the achievement.

I know that the trainer itself does not seem to disable achievements. But in the menu trainer can enable cheats, which is why the achievements are now blocked?

I do not remember to click on purpose something to do with cheats, but accidentally could. And, maybe you know what achievements disable cheats? SocialClub or Steam achievements or both?

You're using trainers and possible cheats?
Well no wonder you are having problems.

The Steam Achievement % for RDR2 can't coincide with the one in-game because the one in-game is for story only. Steam achievements % will be for ALL of the total game achievements (Story + RDO)

Only used a trainer, but I saw a section with cheats in his menu. I didn't open it on purpose, but I could have accidentally clicked

Hard to say for sure. Since there is no way to know for sure, even by loading up a saved game there is no way to tell if it has been achievement-locked due to cheats having been activated on there or not. Cause once you activate any in-game cheat, the game disables achievement system until you load up a saved game where no cheats have been activated on it.

As far as the in-game cheats go, it is OK to enter the cheats via their text phrases in Settings > Cheats Menu. As a means to have them all listed there. As long as not used. At least not without saving first, then save again to another save slot before using any cheats.

As you would want to have separate save slots for (no cheating -vs- cheats activated for fun).

What do you typically use the trainer for? It might be possible that it was able to activate a cheat and there was no in-game message to warn or tell you that it would disable achievements; depending on how that trainer works.

I didn't think to make a separate save. Or rather, it is there, but too far from the epilogue of the game.

Trainer used just for the functions of the type: super run, super jump and stuff like that.
But I think you're right, most likely I accidentally clicked on some cheat code

Yes, went into my old save and was able to unlock one of the achievements. Apparently, it's really about the trainer. More precisely, that I accidentally activated some cheat code. Thank you!
