Gambler 8 Is Actually Cancer
I've been at this one single challenge for 3 days now amassing over 12 hours of blackjack, even with me using the sit at the first seat and just get up and sit back down until you get low cards. I've had a total of 3 hands that were 20 or 21, only one of them I actually won, the others were pushes or losses. This is beyond stupid for a challenge, everything else in this game in the challenge category is a mater of skill, this is purely putting you at the mercy of RNG.

Lmao apparently all you have to do is complain, as soon as I posted this and played my next hand, I got 2 aces, then a king, another ace, and last card put me at 18. The dealer landed a 17.

Yup, all pure luck on the draw. But it can get done sort of quickly if you set up right.

Gambler 8
Location - Rhodes Parlour House
IMPORTANT - Get the seat that's furthest to the dealer's left (Stand behind the dealer then look to the left side of the table) as this is the seat that gets dealt to first.
If the seat has been taken, run out onto the balcony and go down the stairs, leave for about 10 seconds, go back inside. NPCs should have reshuffled. Repeat if the seat is still not available
Always do the smallest bet
If your first two cards exceed the total value of 5 or 6 (if you feel risky), leave the table
Buy back in as soon as you can move

The dealer always reshuffles the cards as soon as you leave the table. If you do this fast enough, the dealer won't even reach the next person on the table so you'll be straight into a fresh round.

So!
You thought 8 was bad?
The description looked painful?
Dreading Gambler 9?
You should be!
...it's worse!

Win 3 GAMES of Dominoes IN A ROW

Not rounds, GAMES!
This one is much more grinding than 8 is. While 8 is pure luck, this one is patience, luck, tactical and restraint of not throwing your keyboard/controller through your screen and then throwing your tower/console out the window.

Tips for Gambler 9:
Location - Emerald Ranch train station (Standard game)
Be sure there's only 1 person playing at the table
Always start with your biggest tile and work down to the smaller ones
Keep some tiles that have the same pip end value in case you get blocked
You can pick up from the Bone Yard, but this might lead to mass pick ups so be careful

IMPORTANT - If your opponent has 1 tile left and you have a lot, Leave the table, watch the leaving cut scene, buy back in immediately. This won't reset your win counter!

I'll tell you now: Gambler 10 is a joke compared to these two...

I actually got gambler 9 and 10 done in 30 minutes. Went to the dominoes guy at one of the train stations cause he only plays classic draw dominoes which is really easy to win. Then for poker you just go to the flatneck station table, all-in out the gate no matter what, usually everyone but one guy will fold, and he's usually all-ining with you on absolute garbage cards. I had to reset the table once by going out, standing in the grass until the lock on the poker chip went away, sat back down one 3 hands in a row and was $10 richer lmao

yeah gambler 9 is basically winning 3 coinflips in a row. The problem is, the likelyhood of a player doing this before they pull their hair out is much lower because each coinflip is SOOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOW.

Sure, some people will get it the first try out of luck, but this is a small % of players.

All 5 or whatever it is called. Reaching 100 points. Games are kinda fun and pretty quick. If you are about to lose, just stand up and go again. Challenge 9 is easy.

I tried the stand-up method and it didn't work for me, the counter was resetting. I'm on x-box, idk why that would matter though.
