Out of memory RDR2

Hi, i have i7 12700kf, rtx 4070TI Super and 32gb rami ddr4, 3600mhz, i dont know why in a moment random when i wanna join in a rdr2, i get this error"
Out Of Memory. Please reboot other applications, and ensure your computer meets the minimium equirments.

usually, the only application I have open is google chrome on the second monitor and it's on youtube/twitch, for noise only :)) , every time I have to make sure I don't have other windows open, but I don't understand why, sometimes I don't have any application running and I still get this error, it's weird...

I think my pc is above their requirements, and I keep getting this error, any idea?

Rockstar is not very smart. You have to manually set your virtual memory to be higher, NOT using the automatic setting. Look up tutorials on YouTube.

Use DX12 option.
Take Windows PageFile off of Auto and set it manually; such as 8GB MIN and 32GB MAX

My son had the same problem. Turned out to be his C: drive was too full. Uninstalled a few things and it corrected the problem. Hope this helps, good luck.

Always keep at least 30-40 gb free space on C Drive. On top of the manually set PageFile

Error started happening after I switched PC's but this fixed it. Everyone else always says increase page file but that didn't work. This fixed it immediately, thank you.

Do you have Steam configured for Hardware Acceleration that might be why.

Unfortunately for me the steam overlay is already off for rdr2 and greyed out so I couldn’t change it if I wanted to. Just changed pagefile to 32 GB max. Hopefully it works :/

Same error, but it started to happen recently, after like 40h of playing, Idk why...

It's normal. Game collect data while you play and stores it to make next time location, items and other moving objects to upload faster. If this data won't stored during game process you constantly will see bad textures. I had this when game was on HDD. When i dropped game to SDD it works fine now. But yes, after few hours of playing game you need to restart game to clean memory.
I have this message when play two or more hours in a row, so i just restart game.
If i continue playing after this message - nothing happens
I restart game just in case

Using the SocialClub Overlay tends to crash the game. The Steam Overlay however should not.

Yes editing the PageFile settings is a must
