Why are companion quests randomized and missable?
I still feel this was a dumb decision, not only are the quests randomized so thetes a few you probably won't see unless you play the game 8 times (i have but still) but unless you do them as soon as they appear you lose the option to do them, so unless you drop everything and decide to use up all your sude content at once you lose it, i literally did 3 coach robberies in a row just so i didn't miss out.
Also for the randomized thing this is the first playthrough I've ever gone cattle rustling with Uncle, last playthrough i got a quest with Tilley and one with Mary Beth I've never seen before either and didn't see this playthrough, why are they so rare?

You do not lose the option to do missions unless you advance the story with yellow missions.

Many of the white side missions or camp favors are time of day related. They will reappear.

Even worse. I couldn't give Dutch his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pipe in 2 playthroughs.
The item is even listed as "Dutch's pipe" but he doesn't start his quest/ doesn't ask for it.

Happens when you have 80 % of your devs on graphics, animations and cutscenes. Core gameplay is lackluster.

They should last the whole chapter i don't want to sit around forever ignoring the main quest just to make sure i get every single side mission. Especially since some quests take place in the camp so i can't go near my tent without starting it.
there arent that many companion quests, They tend to appear at the start of every camp (chapter), afaik, havier, charles, sean, marston, and uncle are the only ones that pop up. They are not all that common, why would you be struggling to complete all of them.

Look it up, theres quests for Tilly, Mary Beth, Micah, Lenny, Pearson and a few you mentioned have more quests after their first, the fact you've never played them (or even heard of them) proves my point.

request or quest?....im pretty sure after my 3rd or 4th playthrough id know the difference.

oh and yes i didnt mention lenny in shady bell, or micah after strawberry, was i suppose to.

without looking it up off the top of my head, havier, and sean, take you robbing, marston asks for the oil wagon for the robbery, micah asks you to rob a stage, and bill asks you to rob valentine, lenny asks you to rob a stage, grimshaw asks you to rescue tilly from the formans, pearson asks you to go hunting, what else. I might be missing one or two where you are robbing with someone and marybeth plays the distraction and another one where tilly was suppose to be the distraction, they tend to pop up at the start of every chapter if you sleep in your bed every once in a while.

anyway why am i writing a guide, just play or look it up.

These are side quests not main quests as in the white quests with theirr name, several you mentioned are msin wuests you have to do. Also my entire point is ive done 8 playthroughs and have still only seen these side quests once (which I'll say again look them up since you seem to not believe me, further proving my point btw)

the only main quest i mentioned was marston, but its designed as a companion quest, only difference is the yellow icon indicating that its a main quest, maybe the valentine robbery is as well but i think it too plays as any of the other robberies. If you didn't neglect the camp as often you would have been able to do all of them, sleeping at camp is a lot more beneficial than most people think. you get gold stamina core for one.

The wagon, valentine robbery abd quest to save Tilly are all main quests you are required to do I'm really not sure why you're trying to debate if you don't even know the main story of the game.

Have you just considered googling missions that are miss-able? This is not as tough as people make it out to be.

It doesn't matter when they don't spawn every playthrough, what are you people not getting.

We do get it, either play it multiple times or stop caring about it so much. There is really nothing that special about it anyways. There are no huge pay offs. Everything camp related is a bit of dialogue you can watch on youtube and those are the only variables. Any actual missions can be done on every play through, so it is only these camp items.

And look, i am not diminishing your desire to hit everything in the game in one go, i agree with you there. Most games are not even good enough to play 2, 3 and 4 times. But it is what it is and raging into the wind doesnt change spit.

All of the side missions from camp companions have triggers and condtions that need to be in place for them to be available....wether it be time of the day...or your Health...example would be: Pearsons request to get him a rabbit to make you a stew...is triggered between 10am and 2pm in game time..and you need to have low health core and or stamina core for him to offer it as a way to make you feel better = reward is a blue denim hunting Jacket ..there is alot of them spread out through the chapters.... just look em up there is alot of websites with lists of these and what triggers they require.
