Maybe if they ever remove the Rockstar Games Launcher, they'll also fix this problem. Both GTA4 and GTA5 can be launched in without Internet, so there's no reason for this to be a thing with RDR2, especially since people already cracked the game. 🤷♂️ In the end, only honest customers are "suffering" from this crappy situation. (This might be a bug.)
I've had a Rockstar account in the past. I love Bully and wish they'd make a new version of it, but outside of that no thanks I have no need for it. I know you can opt out of receiving emails and updates, but that never works. You still occasionally receive updates and I don't want it.
I'm getting updates for some crap currently I haven't had in years and don't even use. I tried to contact them and I think it's overseas outsourcing so they don't understand. Oh it was Venmo. They keep bothering me. I've never used Venmo not once. I mean I had an account, but deleted it.
Try it, please. Activate the "Offline Mode", and disconnect your cable or from the Wi-Fi.
