White square appears on the screen every time I left click
As seen here[imgur.com], every time I left click my mouse this stupid box appears and disappears instantly.
I have tried turning Nvidia Reflex on and off both in-game and in Nvidia control panel. The flash indicator in GeForce Experience is also off.

I cannot believe that it's been 6 months with this stupid "issue" still in the game and Rockstar doesn't even bother fixing it. I appreciate your help if you've solved this issue in any way.

You would probably be able to get more help if you would included all your system specs. They are a lot of smart people on here but they will need to know exactly what your computer is made of in order to trace down the problem.

Thanks a lot.

I have a Lenovo Legion 5.
CPU : Ryzen 7 5800H
GPU : Nvidia RTX 3060 Mobile
Ram: 32GB

I had the same problem with my PC. It had a Ryzen 5 3600XT and an Nvidia GTX 1660 Super.

Both systems are beyond what the game requires to properly run.
i have the same problem now. my laptop is i7 11800H RTX 3060 laptop

After you launch the game, after clicking Story Mode and it starts the loading process, press ALT+Enter 1 time.

Here is everything I did to finally fix this issue. Some of these steps might not be necessary, but some part of this combination fixed the issue.

-Open RDR2 > Setting > Graphic > Disable NVideo Reflex Low Latency (Mine was already disabled by default but I still had this issue.)

-Press Alt+Z to open GeForce Experience > Settings > Notifications > Turn OFF the "Reflex Flash Indicator Support" setting.
--In GeForce Experience Settings > Performance Monitoring > Turn OFF "Always Show Reflex Flash Indicator.

-Right click on your desktop and open NVidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > Select Red Dead Redemption 2 as the program, scroll down to "Low Latency Mode", and set it to OFF.

-Go to your Steam Library, right click on RDR 2 > Properties > General> Under "Launch Options", paste "-m.FlashMarkerOnStrike 0"

-Finally, after doing all of this, restart your computer. Good luck.

I'll try this soon and report back after testing. Thanks.

Get rid of Geforce Experience, there's your problem.

It works, mostly the steam launch options code because everything else was turned off by deafult in my case.

Anyway, You Sir are a Saint and have a blessed day.

RDR2 works perfectly fine w/ NVIDIA Reflex; you issue is that GFE junk.
