How to rob Valentine doctor?

How do I rob the illegal business at the doctor's in Valentine? I knocked on the backdoor, peeked through the window and went inside to the doc, but no dialogue option came up to rob or show me the backroom. I waited a day and tried again, but then the shop wouldn't open and I got reported for trespassing when I tried to open the front door??

Have you tried pointing a gun at the doctor?

You have to go outside and around to the back; once you overhear a guy talking to somebody through the armored door, you can rob it from the front office.

Yes, I pulled my gun at him, but like I said no option came up tp rob

You may also need to observe the lawman take a bribe from the back door of the doctors office. I’m not sure when that happens however.

I did that too :/ Saw the lawman, knocked on the backdoor and they turned me away, peeked through the window then went in to the doctor but didn't get the option to rob or anything when I pulled my gun on him. I waited a couple of days and tried again now, but now none of the options come up (lawman, backdoor, window). It's night, but maybe it needs to be a specific time?

Alright. I think I found a solution.
I got the game in the latest sale and didnt wanted to do the rob right when I got the two tipps about it.
After some time I tried it and it didnt work. Didnt had the dialog option at all. And I could not get out my gun without shooting him. Tried different stuff. To bad for me another work around was out of the window as well. Something with getting a bounty mission from the sherriff next door. Had both done already. Clipping in was removed I found out.
Working with a safegame editor got me nothing either. I could edit the gun to myself.. but.. honor and stuff.
Today I got first to Rhodes. And I found the guy in the basement. But same problem here, no dialog, no way to get out the gun. I can get it out outside, go in but still no option.

This was the second time content was cut for me. And I cant stand this. So I tried around, got half my safegames dedicated to solve this problem.

To cut the chase.. Get into a dialog with the guy down there. Dont wait till it ends, after of question leave him be and get near the door of the gunstore. Mask up and get a gun in your hand. Aim (Important!), go to the door and open it but try to stay outside with Arthurs body!
Let the gunstore owner see the pistol and hammer G (Thats the rob key?), there should be for a very short time the option to rob him. If you did everything right, they start to talk, and he brings you down in the basement.
It worked for me.

Now back to Valentine. It worked there as well. BUT! The Doc cant really see your pistol and you are still outside with a lot of people around. It took me a couple tries to get it done, but it worked! Same thing. Mask up, unholster weapon, try to enter the store but dont go in, hammer G. Money. Quite literally.

it's obviously glitched cuz u dont have to do anything except peek at the back window and point a gun at the owner, that should bring up the "Rob..." dialogue option. If not then it's glitched. Try and load an earlier save.

I just walked to the door in the doctors office and tried to open it , he said something i drew my gun aimed then made him open it, this after i tried opening the door outside, but you have to be at a point where you already took the girls to town, then one of them tells you something weird is going on in there, before it will work. chapter 2 i think

When you read the OP this didnt worked for him and me. And many others if you google the topic.

There was no savegame beceause that hint I got was like 10 hours before I tried it. This is for the glitch, not for people who can trigger it normally and just dont know how to. We tried EVERYTHING and it didnt worked. This works for me. I did overcome the glitch. No need to lose progress with a old safegame.

What in my case wouldnt help either, because the guy in the gunshop basement was the first time I encoutered him. And it still didnt work. Tried multiple earlier safegames. It just fails. No option, not possible to rob the shop the normal way.
