I learnt from GTAV which I also haven't finished. The game is a slog. The missions are crap. "Go here from here". Interesting setpieces few and far between.
OH AND THERES HIDDEN OBJECTIVES that we'll tell you had AFTER the mission and you lose creds or xp.
At least have the companion NPC's go "Oh ♥♥♥♥! I forgot my turkey in the oven!" And yell at you to go faster.

And this Online business...I'm happy you're making money Rockstar....but nobody on Single player is benefitting from this.

Heck, even when you do update or change you'll probably ♥♥♥♥ them up as well.

Thanks for showing duty of care for San Andreas. Butchering it not only twice...not thrice....but four separate times.

Currently the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PS2 version is the best way to play the game. Or version 1.0 on PC because you even ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that by giving PC players THE MOBILE PORT.

I hope you get dissolved in the upcoming depression and any and all talents get hired in companies that would actually make them shine.

my main issue was always optimization, and sometimes randomly getting attacked when looking for stuff that was hella annoying as I was just trying to do the story. never really played it a lot since it ran terrible tho, I do wonder if that has gotten any better now.

but last time I tried the rockstar launcher thing you need just wasnt working lmao so I havent played any rockstar game in ages. I do hear online is bad as it never gets updated with new content or stuff like that.

I dont play COD...

I just hate Rockstars (2K?) tendency to SLOW DOWN the action.
Just compare Max Payne 2 and 3.
I love detail and polish. To put effort in things few if any will even notice.

BUT THAT WASNT MY COMPLAINT NIMROD.
You shot your arrow wide.
What im pissed about is the ONLINE portion affecting the solo experience.
Of EXCESSIVE amount of detail affecting WHAT IS FUN!
Its just INFURIATING to play a game that excessively interferes with your inputs.
Of the arcade portions INTERFERING with story!

Why does the 500 Magnum kill better than a 22?
It doesnt in humans. BUT for bears? Gators? You might as well give up with a 22.
There was a gator in Africa that shrugged off AK rounds!

How many weapons is our power man dragging around? Do you even need most of them? Wouldnt it be "ANOTHER LEVEL OF REALISM" if you had to pack them all yourself on your horse, and switch them around there? OR clean them part by part for a % reliability increase? NO IT WOULD BE TEDIOUS.

So after another rant we arrive to the meat of things.
What i find infuriating with the game is that its TEDIOUS.

Factorio can be tedious BUT AT LEAST its self inflicted.

"Vast majority"

Youre in a game forum probably occupied by those who love the game or hate it... a vocal minority smaller than perhaps 1% of all PC RDR2 owners and MAYBE 10% of 41,105 current players of which dont even bother opening the forum.

The only people BUYING the freaking game currently are probably unaware how much of a slog the modern Rockstar games are OR are Informed GTAV Online players and want more of that.

IF You were to walk on the street and stop the first stranger and ask if they´ve played RDR2, They would probably spit on you and then smear you with their ♥♥♥♥....In LA, But everywhere else they will ask "What is that?"

What % has finished the final chapter.
What % has earned their second XP throphy for online.
