Mouse On Screen and I Can't Move (or do Most Things)
To preface:

1. Yes, I have searched the web for this issue but can only find people fixing the mouse cursor being on screen but the game still functioning. Trying their solutions for THAT problem doesn't fix mine and they are still able to play the game with the mouse cursor visible.

2. I have scripthook for singleplayer mods and I am willing to relent that this may be an issue with THAT though I am unable to find reference to this issue. I might not be looking in the right place in that regard but am hoping that if this IS a scripthook issue that someone might point me in the right direction and I've just managed to miss something that was right under my nose this whole time.

On the off chance that this IS something that happens with the vanilla game, my mouse is on screen and I cannot move, move the camera or do most things in the game. I can open the menu and navigate it just fine, though. It's when I am in-game as Arthur that I can't do anything. Steam Overlay also works just fine. It's happened to me twice now, same mission, didn't happen prior, restarting the game and/or my PC doesn't fix it.

This is issue for me just stopped on its own. I'm not sure why. I eventually was able to progress and it hasn't happened since. I didn't even have to mess with my mods.

Huh, weird.

The best advice I can try to give is to just make sure the game is up to date and just... keep restarting until it stops.

I have had the same issue, and so far, I can only think I have traced it down to having the Trainer installed, and every now and then, i think am pressing more than one key at once and my RDR2 cursor comes up and I can't move or get rid of the cursor. It never happened to me until I put the Trainer in.

If I just reload from my last save it is just the same and I have to quit the game and relaunch, I'm fine again.

Though I do have scripthook installed for singleplayer mods, I can distinctly remember that in most of the instances I wasn't pressing any buttons - simply moving my mouse while riding on a wagon being driven by another character. I wouldn't rule out the possibility, but there is likely another culprit, too.

I'm still trying to trace it, It could be coincidence but I never had it until I put in the trainer. What's even more typical is that it hasn't happened the last couple of days while playing. I can only try to figure it out when it happens.

I noticed it happened when I was aiming and shooting during missions. But so far it hasn't happened since I removed the Rampage Trainer. I'll post again if it happens without that installed.

I use Rampage too! Maybe it's a rampage issue?

I've traced my arrow cursor problem. For me it is button "X" to turn it on and off. It has nothing to do with the trainer. In my game, X is a few things in the key-bind settings which for me, "X" is still at default. I must have clipped X a few times when going for C to look behind me or something.
