Game doesnt start 2023

This have been a problem last couple of months. Happened exactly have you described it. I just refunded and was ultimately dissapointed, because I really wanted to play this masterpiece. Too bad for me and for them.

It's just sad that these companies nowadays get us to spend $60 years ago and then down the line you cant even play the game at all and they just get away with it. Its insane.

Go to your game files and set rdr2 exe's to run on admin mode and do the same thing with the launcher, fixed it for me.

I found that I needed to log into Rockstar Games and then log into open the game in Steam.

My game was ok a couple days ago, then yesterday I tried to play again and got that "Activation Required" screen. Weird. Tried the Rockstar Launcher itself and got a 3000.108 error. Weird 2. Since then I tried the following:

- Veryfing game files integrity
- Resetting Winsock and IP
- Reinstalling R*Launcher
- VPN (which worked for a moment and not anymore
- Cleaning broken files and registry

Didn't work. Also I try to access socialclub.rockstar.com and no good. I even tried to ping it with the command prompt and it's like the site is down, but Google says it's up.

As the buddy above said: "WTH Rockstar?!"

Mine does not work either... It's beyond dumb... However I have an unideal solution. Search for the .exe in the high seas... Only way I could fix for now. It's so stupid that you have to do this for a game you own. Rockstar game launcher is probably the worst thing that has happened.

Worst thing is actually that RockStar is doing nothing about this. No statement, no communication, useless support. Pretty sad when they literally have two ,,alive'' games that they manage and they can't even do THAT properly.

I cant even write ho effin mad i am.. i have bought the ultimate edition but in discount offcourse.. and i havent played a one second of the game.. havent been in a main menu even. First few weeks i was batling with stupid Rockast launcher..that even could not start.. after few weeks ive tried.. randomly to just try it and it got itself some update and i finally can at least log in and see that i dont own MaxPayne 3 that i have finished and from that time (like year ago) ive lost the game in my account.. now i dont even have RDR2 in the list but it is (i think) able to run thru the RDR online one.. but when i click "play on steam" it for 2-4 seconds switches to steam that it wants to run the game and the icon (play on steam) turns unclicable "blank" and then resets to clicable as it was before i cliked it.. so its just shows me that the game runs (steam played hours shows but i havent seen any game been stated) offcourse i have admins right and so on. How to put pressure on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrinble company to make their games playable?? Somebody is even mad for cyberpunk till this day and this company steals your games and if you buy a new one.. it wont even start (and their launcher too). :(
