Help Fix error #FFFFFFFF

How do I fix my game. Every time I launch it it says error #FFFFFFFF. I googled and did I everything, but it still crash and says the same thing. Please help.

This error has existed for years, and mainly affects Nvidia 20 series GPUS and up, but don't worry there is a solution. So first you want to go to your steam settings, you will see a category called shader precaching, in there will be an option to enable background processing of vulkan shaders, make sure this is enabled. Next you're going to launch up RDR2 and go to the settings in there, I will go down the list of settings that must be set to these values to fix the issue. go to graphics, you will see a setting called NVidia Reflex Low Latency set that to Enabled + Boost. Now scroll down under Tessellation Quality you will see a setting called Nvidia DLSS, set it to balanced. Now scroll down to advanced graphics, in there you will see it locked, unlock it, you will see a setting called Graphics API, it defaults to Vulkan (the main issue causing the error and a still ongoing VRAM leak), switch to DirectX 12. You will be prompted to restart the game for these settings to take affect. Do so, then when you restart go back to the settings and verify that those settings did stick, if they didn't redo them. Now once you've done all this all the other settings you are free to set them to whatever suits your fance so long as these 3 main settings listed here are left at what I've recommended. You should see an end to the error in Single Player. Now if you are getting this error in Online still then that is a modder crashing your game with their mod menu in which case the only solution for that is to remove the modder from the equation. Here is a link to a youtube video that will show you how to make your own private friends only lobby, it has you make a meta file where only people with an exact match to your own meta file can join you. If you for some reason want to go back to public lobbies and deal with modders crashing your game again all you have to do is move the file out of the location it's put in. Once you make that meta file enjoy playing online without modders crashing your game for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles.
