Activation error: your social club account is not entitled to red dead redemption 2
It's been an hour looking for a solution to this problem with no luck. Whenever I launch the game I get this message that forces me to close the program and contact the rockstar support. The worst part is that apparently there's no way to contact Rockstar support directly.

Oh so I am not alone after all, I was going crazy trying to launch it. I thought it was something wrong on my side. Same error message as yours. I reinstalled Windows recently but I have my Steam library on another SSD so I didn't reinstall RDR2, did you do something similar or it just stopped working for no reason?

Nevermind, I solved by reinstalling the social club program, opening it before the game and leaving it open. I did it 3 times, the third time worked for some reason.

Rockstar: great games but their launcher is a pain, I wish it never existed.

Didn't do anything, as a matter of fact I bought the game during the holidays and installed it today for the first time.

So it seems to be a problem on their side. RDR received an update today (?), maybe something went wrong with it.

Yeah maybe. Right now I'm trying to run the game, I'm getting the error half of the times.

Did something like this and worked, I hope I don't have to do all of this each time I want to play...

i haven't had to but had to do that when i bought the game to get it going been fine sense
