Red Dead Online, Collector - metal detector doesn't work

Red Dead Online, Collector - metal detector doesn't work. It doesn't flash near with collectible items (lost jewelry, coins, ets.)
Did anyone get the same issue?

(Note - it first happened before today's 2.9 GB update, 2-3 days ago. Update didn't solve this problem.)

It happens like once a week for some folks.
Go to the game folder in your Documents folder; then delete the "Player" file
Then launch the game and it will download a fresh one after your launch Red Dead Online portion of the game.

You have to delete player profile go to documents, Rockstar, Reddead2, profile, then delete "PLAYER" then log back in it should work, it worked for me my shovel and detector where not working

One addition - just noticed that I also cannot get any wild flowers and random items via shovel.
Will this method solve these problems too?
(To clarify - I thought I have issue only with metal detector and now it's not the only problem)

Yes, deleting the PLAYER file on your system in the RDR2 folder within Documents should easily resolve issues in RDO related to Treasure Maps, Metal Detector, Shovel.

when you collector role gets bugged it means that you wont be able to see any metal detection any wild flower and any other collectibles which uses shovel

All savefiles from storymode were not deleted
( Also I created backup this folder - C:\Users\[User name]\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles)
