Nothing of proof.
Same with similar rumors regarding Call of Duty Warzone
So is this a Steam only thing? I saw the exact same price on steam 3 weeks ago. I hesitated to buy like a donkey. If it's a region thing shouldn't the price go up everywhere? But again, maybe some things happened that I don't know about or I lack some information.
The lowest RDR2 has ever gone was the recent 67% off, in four separate sales events.
For your prediction to be true, that would need a 91% off sale.
On top of that, looking at all sales history on steamdb shows nobody gets a special discount - it's the same cut for everyone, everywhere. I highly doubt they're ready to sell this in the USA for 5.99, considering the lowest it's ever been was 20$
At the new pricing, the next 67% off sale will cost 380, which is about 4x the price as before. Frankly, it's better to save money and go to epic.

How much is that in TL?
The only silver lining to jacking up all prices is the slim possibility many publishers can actually hold 90% off sales. But will they?
this price change happened only for this game ? Or in the future we see more games going to be like this ?
