Can you play coop in story mode?

My friend and I were looking at this and I was wondering if we could play the game in coop? Not the online version where we have to play against real people.
(Unless the online version has AI)

Unfortunately no coop in story mode, only single player and as far as i know the online mode does not have any AI only real people.

Online has a separate story, a lot of sidequests. There is enough PvE content in the RDO

I dont think so, atleast without mods. You can try out the online story mode

I just restarted RDO. Hadn't played in in almost a year. Heading for a quest in Saint Denis, I saw a player that seemed to be in a continual shower of water, I minded my business and continued on. I was killed by a sniper. Figured I would soldier on, got back to my horse, and killed again. RDO sucks.

huh? it's 99pct AI pve content in online
