Can't progress further and stuck in chapter 5

this my first time play rdr2, i play it normally until when i'm in chapter 5 after i play the second mission "Savagery Unleashed" there is no 3rd mission that i can interact, i do my research the 3rd mission in chapter 3 it should be "A Kind and Benevolent Despot" with dutch right? ill go to the spot that it used to be the starting point of the mission and there is no dutch and here i am stuck at guarma and cant do anything,

i already replay the "Savagery Unleashed" and still have the same result

can anyone help me fix this issue? i really like this game and want to finish it as soon as possible :(

If I hear the term "reinstall" one more time.
For a Steam game all that does is delete the files and redownload them. Pointless.

Load up your saved game, sleep for an entire 12-24 hours worth of time.
Then check the map again for story related missions.
Visit Camp perhaps also.

Maybe dutch has already gone to the gate to meet the lady that take you to the ladder, or maybe you didn't finish something from last mission. Dutch meets you and you climb on the cliffs along the river by the waterfall and meet someone. If you met dutch and he went there without you maybe he is there waiting but a yellow or white dot should be on mini radar. did you upload save game file? Are you using mods?

That is not quite right, do your research. Files can get corrupted and mods can mess up certain sequences in a game. Even without mods files could get messed up beyond repair.

See this is what I'm talking about. Please micro-manage your stuff if you are going to do things like this. You can't go blaming Steam or Rockstar for simple things you happen to overlook.

hey bro a friend of mine is having the same problem, deleted all the mods, reinstalled and all the ♥♥♥♥ but nothing, he cant progress, could you tell me how you resolved your problem? thanks mate

I just had this bug, it's not related to mods. I fell into one of the pits and while I was fighting off the guards who spawn in I accidentally killed one of the normal patrolling guards as well, which gave me a wanted level. Rockstar didn't block the wanted system in Guarma even though there's no way to lift it, so it blocks the mission from activating (similar to how missions will say you committed crimes recently and have to come back later).
The only way to fix it is to use the save editor from X3T-Infinity (https://x3t-infinity.com/RDR_SE) to remove the bounty level in Guarma and reset the mission status of A Kind And Benevolent Despot from 5 back to 1.

Guarma is a really broken level. Make sure to use the other save slots as you progress through it or you risk getting stuck by things like this.

If it's a bug related to Guarma just die and that should resolve the issue.

You did not explore the game map on-foot did you? Seems pretty obvious to me.

There are more then just the Dutch mission to rescue Javier.
Having it spawn you back at the camp is normal so you can grab what provisions and ammo are there.

You did not explore the game map on-foot did you? Seems pretty obvious to me.

There are more then just the Dutch mission to rescue Javier.
Having it spawn you back at the camp is normal so you can grab what provisions and ammo are there.

I have no mods and have the same problem, it sounds obvious to me to die to relaod the map, but doesn't work. Sleep is not an option since there's no SLEEP option at the moment.
