If it is badly optimized it doesn't mean anything if that site says I can run it, cause that site tells you on paper you will be able to run it, that doesn't mean it will run without stutters or other problems, thanks anyway .
The site doesnt actually test ............... now that im about to type this i realize how stupid it is............... all games against ALL computer configs in actual tests......
1st that woyld be impossible to dooooooooooooooooooooooooooo unless they had a " virtual computer " that transformed into any config imagineable.
Is that even a thing ?
Im gonna check that site and see how they say the test.
Not sure how Can i run it actually does since i wasnt impressed but i plugged your pc into this and it gave these results
https://benchgame.com/en/can-i-run-it
I have also tried disabling XMP/gaming mode and this does not have any affect on the RDR2 crashes - they occur as frequently with or without these two settings be enabled.
I have dropped all the graphics settings to low or turned off and still crashes occur the same amount and frequency.

I have tired various resolutions from 1024x768 all the way up to 2K resolutions (I have 3x 2k monitors)
After quite literally a year or so of trying to get this game to work on Windows and Linux both I am ready to give up and never again purchase a Rock Star game so long as I live. I make a lot of money every hour I work, and to think I have wasted weeks (and quite possibly months) on trying to play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game makes me sick.
ON Windows I have it to the point where I can play it for an hour or two before the inevitable lockup which causes me to have to kill the game and then restart it and all the resulting loss of game play that involves.
I have tried DX and Vulkan - this makes no difference in crash reduction, although DX12 does seem to run the game "smoother" when it isn't busy crashing.
System RAM and CPU usage seem to be fine when the crashing occurs on both OS's - neither one displays abnormal memory or CPU usage before, as it is happening or after the crashing occurs.
I play Assassins Creed: Odyyssey, Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk 2077,Far Cry 5, Primal and 6, The incredible Adventures of Van Helsing on both Windows and Linux with zero issues - as a matter of fact the Far Cry games are faster and look better on Linux.
I play or have played, in Windows and on this system, VR beat saber, BoxVR, Pokerstars VR, Project Cars, VR Moss, Fall OUt 4 VR, Skyrim VR, Arizona Sunshine VR and Half Life -Alyx VR. I have played Arma 3, BioSHock Infinite, Doom, DOom Eternal, Dyng Light, Elden Ring, The elder Scrolls Oblivion and Skyrim, Fallout 4 and 76, Far Cry 3,4,5 primal, New Dawn and 6, F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin, Grand Theft Auto 5, Kingdoms of Amalur the reckoning, Metro 2033 Redux, Metro Exodus, Metro Last Light reduc, Prey, Monster Hunter: Worlds, RAGE, Resident Evil 5/6, Shadow Warrior 2, Sniper Elite 4, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts and 2, Squad, the Hunter: Call of the Wild, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, and a whole lot more.
I listed all this to make a point - the issues with RDR2 are NOT MY COMPUTER OR HARDWARE they are Rock Stars crappy handling of the port to Windows.
Phew - now, all the above being said I go back to fool me once, twice, thrice.
RockStar will need to PROVE to me that they can do this properly if they want any more of my money - if not maybe Rock Star should keep their talent where it belongs - on the console, because so far they have proven to me that they either do not have the interest (or the talent maybe?) in making their games compatible with Windows (forget about Linux). What Rock Star games DOES have though, is an interest in the bonus money they make for a bare minimum effort in porting a console game to Windows and if it works GREAT! if not? Oh well.
SO, I for one person will not waste any more time, effort and money on Rock Star games.
BUT, this does not change the whole fool me once , twice, thrice login - I STILL will not purchase any more Rockstar games until their ports are proven to be more stable. I DID, however, pay a premium price for RDR2 and will play it IF I CAN.
Check the reviews dont they tell a different story ? Or are all of those ppl paid shills along with all the independent companies that gave it all the high praise/rewards its gotten ?
I just logged out of the game to check a YT video before i log back into the game..........
Am i not real ?????? If you say im not playing what am i doing when i think im playing the game ??
