Please ensure the Razer Nari is not muted in your operating system and that the headset is set to be the default playback device in the Audio Control panel or in the Software Audio Options.
Check the Realtek HDaudio manager if you have Realtek on your mobo.
Maybe its using 5 or 7.1 stereo surround, Or something else try 2 channel stereo.
This is a long shot, but as you posted this recently I was wondering if you'd found a solution? I am having the same problem.
make sure it does not click over to 7.1 after you turn of or on your pc this use to happen to me alot
I'm using Windows 11 and can't find anything for 5.1 or 7.1 under the sound settings. Where would I be able to see that?
Double check the Properties for your Headphones in Windows Sound Settings and ensure they are set to 2.1 Stereo and not some form of Surround Sound such as 5.1
If you plug your Headphones into Front Case Line-Out, on some audio cards or motherboards the front audio counts as a separate audio output device. Ensure this is set to default before launching game.
So I've gone through two rounds with R* tech support and it's just endless rounds of being switched around from person to person with them going through random points on whatever checklist they're using. I really like this headset but software-wise, it's definitely had some weird issues.
If the audio device is USB then ensure it's plugged in and set to default before launching a game
