Certain achievements not unlocking/ tracking

ive done two playthroughs now where the achievement for completing chapter 2 hasn't unlocked, also in the last playthrough i 100% the game, yet it says on steam that i only had 75% overall completion even though in game it said 100%. now other achievements are unlocking just fine, but does anyone have a way to fix this because i don't want to waste all that time again just for these achievements not to unlock?

i think i have the rampage trainer installed, but i don't really even use it, also im able to unlock other achievements, its just the chapter 2 completion, best in the west, and its art that wouldn't unlock. all other ones seem fine.

Well that's normal, mods might not be affecting everything, only some of the scripted events.

100% Game Completion is just the Story; not 100% Achievements.
Also I'm not sure whether or not a 100% Compendium is required for that.

Also bring up your achievements in SocialClub and cross-check them.
IDK why people care about the Steam achievements; you can just click a button and unlock all of those; however if they REALLY are unlocked then your SocialClub account should reflect this.

FYI Steam won't track or unlock achievements on your Steam account side if Steam In-Game Overlay is disabled or not working. It's why I don't have achievements or 100% for many more games cause many years ago I had that off and didn't realize until way later that it was a problem. Otherwise I'd have 100% on Half-Life2 and plenty of other games.

Did you ever find the solution? Steam hasn’t been keeping track of achievements after chapter 3. And I’ve 100% the story

What does Steam have to do with this? Go look at the Achievements in your Rockstar account for RDR2

That would explain it. Although if that happens the achievements are tracked through a local file, then the changes in data are reflected on next SocialClub connection such as game restart. Then they should be unlocked on the SocialClub account and Steam account

maybe that's the problem. I migrated the data from one PC to another and I don't unlock achievements. If I play it again on the previous PC, will I still get achievements? Or since I already played in this savefile did I already corrupt it?
