Problems entering the stable

I have problems when I enter any stable where the game kind of crashes and I can just see my horse standing, but I can't do anything, not pause, not go back, not close the game, I have to press ALT + F4 to get out of there and start the game again, is anyone else having the same problem? how can this be fixed?

Are you running any mods?

Make sure you download and install the latest driver for your graphics card.

Right click on RDR2 in your Steam Library and select Properties and then select Local Files and then select Verify integrity of game files. Let that run and it will fix any issues it finds.

It's a mod which removes the black bar. To solve it, just press F11 ( toogle on/off a mod) before the stable, keep it mind that there will be more bugs related this mod.

I'm having the exact same problem with RD2 Online. Obviously not running any mods, just purchased the game and playing for the first couple of hours. So far, I've entered the stables twice with a horse in tow, and experienced this every time. It is very annoying.

This has been a known bug with RDO for a loooong time, sadly. Flee your horse, wait for it to leave (so you no longer see it's icon) and then enter on foot. Super dumb that we have to do this but it is what it is, I guess.
