Which of these 4 horses is most brave?
Dapple dark grey tennesse walker
or
Dapple dark grey hungarian halfbred
or
Bay roan ardennes
or
Dark bay andalusian
???
I know there's no snown bravery stat but from your experience. Maybe someone here rode all/most of them.
Lookin more horses with mosr bravery and very high hp. Gotten wild bay mustang since I got into chapter 2, gonna look for grullo dun mustang for that extra point of acceleration later and then next war horse with better stats avaible is one of those 4 after I'm done with chapter 2 but thing is they're all same stats except tennesse and hungarian cost 10 dollars more (150 instead of 140). Prolly gonna get one of those two soley for fact of costing bit more but still. What yall's experience with these four in the bravery apparment??
P.S. seeing how big hp, huge bravery war horses get unlocked during progression my idea of best bravery and hp war horse progression looked like this. Grullo dun mustang for chapter 2, one of those 4 horses for chapter 3 and 4, and then the turkoman after chapter 4 till I unlock one of elite superior horses. Does that sound like best possible solution? Is there something I missed maybe? Also, do best war horses have better bravery then superior elite endgame horses, same/similar or worse???
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks!

I've got the perlino andalusian (has to be tamed in the wild in story mode), and he'll go trotting through the swamps with gators every few feet and not even consider tossing me. He'll stand there surrounded by wolves and let me blow them away without tossing me. Cougars still scare the ♥♥♥♥ out of him though... but I think that's true of all horses.

Ardennes are the worst of the war horses when it comes to bravery, with the hungarian halfbreed in the middle. Tennessee walker is a chicken ♥♥♥♥. Go with the Andalusian.

The elite horses, Arabians, are the biggest cowards in the game. They will ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan and throw you if they see so much as a snake. They will throw you instantly if they see a gator, bear, wolf, or cougar. They don't like gunshots either and need constant calming.

A war horse will go hunting with you and not care, and it will go into combat and never throw you, even if it gets shot. To me, these qualities make them the best horses, and to be honest they are not that much slower than the race horses. They also have incredible stamina and can go top speed for a long time. You will be surprised to learn that all the horses travel at a similar speed... the difference in riding from one end of the map to the other on the slowest and fastest horses is measured in seconds, not minutes.

Thank you dude. FInally someone answers this. So i gues sim sticking wiht top tier war hors eisntead of arabians. Yeha i notcied speed of all horses are very similar. What woudl you say is the bravest horse; Andalusian or Ardenes? Those two are war horses with highest stats acording to this except turkoman but hes a multi class so not as brave adn ruled out now jsut like arbanian. Used this for info

I can't say for certain, but my personal experience with the Andalusian tells me to stick with him. The Andalusian was so brave that after riding it around for a while I just didn't see a need to try the Ardennes. I liked him so much in story mode that I skipped all other horses and saved up to buy him again in online mode too. I went on to win all of the random encounters in story mode with the racers while using the Andalusian too, and that horse can sprint so long that he would still be running at top speed long after I'd have to slow down and rest my arabian. Honestly, I assume the three war horse breeds will be pretty similar and it's going to come down to which one you like the appearance of the most.

Funny thing is that it was the Arabian horse that lead me to try the war horses in the first place... that arabian ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ got me killed so many times by throwing me at the first sign of trouble, and it was the good arabian too, the white one that had to be tamed in the wild up near Lake Isabella. I thought that horse would be so good... what a joke it turned out to be.

Aight. Thanks for insight my dude. I guess I'll get andalusian then.

You still have to calm you horse via press of a button even if it is an Andalusian. But both Turkoman and Andalusian, unlike Arabian won't immediately be scared.
Rique Feb 27, 2020 @ 5:55pm
I am positve that bravery is a random value although some horse "should" be bravier than others. I have a mustang and a breton, both skittish. I read elsewhere that people who think this or that horse is braver than others is because they hit g and calm the animal

This is false. I never knew we can calm then until i read that post anyway.
I have a brown leopard appaloosa and he is super braver. I can stand side by side with gator and he doenst drop me. I can run thru gators and wolfs and even kill the lasts with him. he is smooth on shootings and do very well with cougars. No joke. I was superglad because i am playing with a native american.
So far i dont touch any horse anymore. Sometimes i think about purchase a tiger strip mustang or a missouri but then i remember that video from onlypvpcat where he compares a shire and a arabian. At the end the speed diference is 11sec. Seriously. And bravery seems super random.
Grizz Feb 27, 2020 @ 7:24pm
I got rid of my Arabian white horse because she was skittish as ♥♥♥♥, so I got a black standardbred in the wild thinking that she'd be more brave, but no. So I guess it's kinda random.

Andalusians should be the bravest in theory.
Jynn Feb 27, 2020 @ 8:04pm
My Ardennes was a coward, threw me over a rattlesnake even with calming. So i sold it, I have a bay andalusian now. So far she is doing much better

Thx for info guys. I just went for perlino andalusian at beggining of chapter 2 and will prolly use it exclusively since it's a war horse with highest stats of any. Mist be brave af. And so far he is.

i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate my arabian
bigbenisdaman Mar 1, 2020 @ 7:01am
From what I can tell they're all the same. As long as you bond 4 and pat them when getting shot at they'll stay till they die. Seeing a snake/etc. they'll all run away.
