Legendary Bear

I just killed and skinned the legendary bear that Hoasa and Arthur tracked down. I thought it was for a quest but I can't find Hoasa and I don't know what to do with the pelt. Can anyone help me out here please?

so you need to take them to trappers and their stands are all throughout the map. They are not near cities (except for one later in the game) and out in the wild. The closest one to your camp in chapter 2 is is over the big railroad bridge near Strawberry. Look for a paw print map icon and you'll be able to sell it there.

You can only sell legendary pelts to this vendor.

also when you kill and skin an animal, you might get a bear claw or something else like that. These needed to be taken to fences and get crafted into trinkets that are essentially stat buffs. You'll have to wait until Hosea has a mission for you at Emerald ranch before fences open up so you can sell stolen good there. You'll have to wait a few days (maybe 2) and ms. Grimshaw will come to you saying you need to meet Hosea there.

Trapper is where you take LEgendary animal pelts to. he can turn them into the best clothing items in the game imo. google "Trapper Locations rdr2" and find one near you.

Legendary Pelts can't be lost and won't disappear, so you can actually just drop it on the ground, and it will end up with the trapper.
