No matter how many times you ask the same question - the answer will always be the same:
The Native Monitor and the game MUST run at the same resolution.
So you are saying that your desktop resolution is 3840x2160 and you get black borders.
Yet 1920x1080 somehow magically don't have those black borders?
Not saying that you are stupid,
But with either case they are both a 16:9 aspect ratio
Post the make and model of the monitor you are using,
or laptop make/model if that's what you are using.
That's your problem right there, that's a 21:9 widescreen not 4k (nice monitor though)
You'll need something like whats found in the link below.
Just so you know though, there could be better widescreen mod's on the same site?
And I am in no way endorsing this mod, as I run a standard 16:9 aspect ratio.
First one that popped up in my search..

So now it looks something like this 'eh?

5760x1080 no mods, just nvidias surround with 3 1920x1080's
Trolls should still download a malware infested mod
"moved it to my SSD" roflmao, Do YOU think people are STUPID?
Because the "magic" going on in your PC.
The solution was already given to you,
In game resolution must be equal to the resolution of your desktop (monitor) resolution or you will get those pesky bars or parts of the image simply being cut off.
And a ingame resolution 1920x1080 would end up with those bars, on a 3440x1440 monitor, 4k (3840x2160) simply wouldn't fit either.
Game being on an SSD or HDD is a pure nonsense solution.
It's 100% acceptable to admit when you are wrong, also no shame involved either.
Gremlins hard at work 'eh
"The solution was already given to you"
But whatever you say.
