Missing Cigarette Card

I think I sold the Amazing Inventions #12 card by accident. It was in Pleasance. I have spent 2 in-game days and $2K at general stores trying to get another one! Any suggestions. It's the ONLY card I need.

You will still make out ok in the end because if you keep all the other loose cards; you will eventually complete more other sets to sell.

Overall, when you move around in this world you will find Premium Cig Packs laying around, pick one up to get a new card. If you don't have room for anymore Cigs, just smoke one to free up a space for one. A "pack" only gives you "1 cig"

It's more about the Handcuffs than the money - I mean we're all filthy rich, yea?

Each Duplicate card has a number on it saying how many dupes you have - be careful and don't sell any singles... or... spend more money until you get it again. There's nothing else to do really. I doubt if it'll respawn in Pleasance, but do check - you never know.

The cards are all random anyways; you can't grab a certain card at a certain spot in Story Mode. Only RDO has set places for such things. Even those get changes as the RDO system cycles through a few presets for this, so that collectors items and such change each day as the Daily Challenges change.

The Card was collected - then sold - unfortunately.
Does anyone know if they'll respawn in their original location?
ATM we're thinking a random spawn from buying cigs is the only hope.

The loose items you can grab around the game world such as ammo and provisions; always re-spawn.

There are maps online about every cigarette card locations. It seemed to me they do respawn. just don't how long it takes. It's much faster to just buy from stores but since you can't get that particular one...

How long it takes? All you have to do is leave the general area of the item and come back again to it and grab it again. If that for some reason does not work, just go some other stuff in the game, exploring/collecting, making money; etc. and come back to it later on. Or grab the item, save the game, reload the save.

In Story Mode the loose items you find respawn over and over again. Even that White Arabian respawns after you've grabbed it and taken it to stable to use as your own or to sell. Only things that do not respawn are unique items such as items that are considered "story" items; like unique or rare guns, letters, treasure maps, and items you are asked to find by people in your Camp (with the exception of herbs maybe). Most Gold does not respawn, but in a couple places you can still get it to do that.

In Online Mode, those same items you can generally find in Story Mode are found in the same places in RDO. However in RDO they do not respawn in a single session. You'd have to change sessions or make your own private session to be able to go around grabbing all those items again and again.

Thanks. I've been back to Pleasance since but no card, but I'll keep trying. The money isn't even an issue. I've played before, and I have all the weapons and clothes I need, and I'm leaving over 5K for Marston in the Epilouge at the pig farm, but I'd still like to complete the set.

I've scoured the internet - the only way you'll get that card is buying cigs. It won't spawn in Pleasance again.

Was it a loose card? Those do not respawn. The cig packs do.
