Found a solution that helped me.

In short: have Steam and RGL open -> disconnect from the internet (so both Steam and RGL go into offline mode) -> launch RDR2 from your steam library -> connect your internet cable/turn on your connection in Windows while the game is still launching -> exit the game (if it launched and shows an in-game license error) -> launch the game again.

This stupid game is pissing me off worked perfectly fine earlier in the day now all of a sudden my it has a gfx crash if THIS is what I paid 80$ for than Rockstar ripped me off

Just open lost of bugs in Rockstar support. The bastards will have to do something about it

I just installed the game last night, first try to play today and i am stuck on loading screen into Story or online, game just never loads. after waiting 30 mins i gave up and logged a ticket on Rockstar Support.

Found a fix (for me at least)

Navigate to your documents folder
Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings

Open/edit settings.xml (notepad/wordpad)

Search for kSettingAPI_Vulkan and change to kSettingAPI_DX12
