As I said - some mods break the game. Unfortunately the mods that would allow TLOTE Outfit break the game.
I use these and they do not break the game:
You're very near the end, so burn through the rest of it - then enjoy what will be a whole new Game with some really neat things you can do with Arthur - one of them is getting that LOTE Outfit in Chapter 2 if you want...lol
You can't get the LOTE Outfit with those mods above, but you can take Arthur into New Austin to complete all the challenges, catch all the fish, hunt all the animals find all the bones and do most of everything else.
I hate John. I use Mods so I get Arthur for most of it. John only has to tie up some loose ends, watch the credits and I can start over with Arthur ASAP.
That Outfit is Butt Ugly, but some of it's parts can be used to make something more attractive. A Nice Red Coat can make:

About 40 hours of Hunting for the Trapper (I have no idea - it was a LOT of hunting) and you can get every single Ridiculous Trapper Outfit - some articles of which are nice, and when matched up with The 'Good Big Valley' hat from TLOTE can make something for the snow that is also nice:

Anywho - the take away from all of this is:
Autosave sucks Ass. Nasty Ass.
I have every slot filled with a Manual Save that started in Chapter 1. I have a Running Save that gets overwritten every 15 minutes or so. I have other Saves, One BEFORE each Story Mission and One AFTER that I use as the Running Save until the next BEFORE Story Mission Save. I hold on to all those BEFORE Story Mission Saves until all the slots are full, then overwrite them from the bottom of the list from there.
The point is I always have a way to get back to "15 Minutes Ago", or to that save I made before I did something that looked really dangerous (or stupid), or to before that last Story Mission - which would have probably gotten you back to some point near the end of the challenges<---having that save before Gambler 8 would be nice to get back to - so when you lose it, shoot the dealer and everybody else in the Rhodes Saloon you can start over without the big bounty...lol
Autosave killed my horse once and as I recall I was so mortified I started over - and I was in Chapter 4. Well.... I learned my lesson about Autosave and Never Again....
;)
