Bill is a complete idiot who can barely align two words sometimes, I pity him more than I blame him. Javier on the other hand crossed the line when he shook Micah's hand in Beaver Hollow. Who knows what Micah was telling him, and what Javier agreed to, considering it was so near to the end of the gang.

Also I can't believe how arrogant he is. Everytime I replay the story missions the subtle gestures irk me, how he shrugs Hosea's hand off his shoulder or how he stops Sean from walking in front of him.

But the worst is Dutch because you have to watch him walk away safe and free at the end of the epilogue. Boy did I want to kill him and he was right there. I wish you didn't see him again in RDR2 after he leaves Arthur alone on the moutain.

Rdr2 - I didnt really pay attention to those gestures & crap but I think both of them, Bill & Javier, are just simply blinded by loyalty to Dutch. I've seen, only once, Javier interacted with Micah at night, they're drunk, talking about some silly stuff... he doesn't like him

I think you're right about why they stuck to Dutch in the end, it's just that I'm less angry at Bill for it than at Javier.

Yeah, I feel too sorry for Bill to fault him.

I think I heard Javier say that he killed a man in Mexico, someone important, probably a political figure, and could never return, although he obviously does. He bumped into Dutch when they were both starving and stealing chickens in the same farm... if I remember right.

I think every gang member tells the tale of how they met Dutch if you stick around the camp fire enough. There's one story where Bill talks about how great Dutch is and he sounds like he's gonna cry and trying so hard not to. Good acting.

It's never explicitly said, but I think Bill is also on the spectrum. A lot of the time people are making fun of him in a sarcastic way, but he has a hard time figuring out if they are serious or not (I remember one camp interaction between him and Javier, where Javier keeps teasing him but Bill gets confused and frustrated because he's not sure if Javier is serious or not).

That, paired with his uneducated background is why he gives the impression of being a "dumb guy", despite proving himself to be capable in many occasions.
