German voice output
I sometimes see streamers on Twitch or youtube who play RDR II with German language voice input and output.
How is that possible? I only have English voice output with German subtitles.
Who can comment?

Well - the voice actors only voiced English.
There is no 'dubbing' for other languages - only subtitles.

Look at this twitch-Video and jump to 17.00 min forward. She speak in German language and receive German responses. There are many Videos like this.
Are this all Fake Videos?

Bruh that's not even story mode, that's other player speaking german.

These other players at least have no real human voices, which I can judge as native German.
But anyway, I think you are right

This video is from redm probably. These people are "role playing" and making those weird voices for immersion.

I have a feeling were it possible a lot of it would be like this:

Obviously - these are the guys that translate the assembly instructions for an IKEA Bookshelf. The last two words are 'Good Luck'.

I briefly asked in her chat how the German voice output works with the npc, and she seriously said that this can be set in the Rockstar Gamelauncher...

Dude there is no german voice acting. If she said so she lied.
The Video you showed also was clearly a voice chat. Source? Me. Also a german.

You can keep looking for that super hidden german voice file no one knows about but wouldn't you think by now Rockstar Games would have made it obvious to find? Not only because of easy access but because no one ever used something they probably would have paid 100.000 if not millions for? And we both know there is no german streamer or general gamer for that matter that ever uploaded a german voiced Red Dead 2 playthrough.

Probably meant the subtitles.

She don´t ment the subtitles. In this stream are no subtitles.

Take a look at the videostream and wonder!!!

I know, that there should be no official voice file.

What does stream have to do with it though? Probably she is just clueless about it.
Devs took around 8 years with voice/mocap and they only did english. Imagine if they went with multiple other languages..

As I already said, 2 minutes later at 19:15 she starts literally talking with "the npcs", they are real people.

The language aside, imagine not being able to make a distinction between recorded game voices and a streamers microphone, LOL.
