RDR2 boots up but wont display on screen

I'm having a weird glitch. The game will launch and I'm able to hear the game boot up and hear the title screen, but the screen won't maximize. I can also see the running in the taskbar in a tiny screen, clicking it will not maximize the window.
I tried doing Alt+Tab to open it but that won't work
I tired verifying the integrity of the files on steam but that didn't work
I tried Ctrl+Alt+Del and ending the task but that didn't work
Then as a last resort I uninstalled and reinstalled but still not working
My GPU drivers are up to date and windows is up to date and running windows 11

All my other games work on steam and boot just fine. It's just RDR2 that gives me trouble. Currently have 25 hours in my first play through and it's frustrating that this happened.
Has anyone else encountered this bug? If so what did you to resolve the bug? thank you

The game and the native monitor must be running at the same resolution?

hmmm i did change my resolution settings before all this happened, any idea how i'd change the resolution for the game if i can't access the in game settings menu?

uninstall would be the brute force method..

Or you could match monitor to res you set in game...

Or maybe safe mode?

I already did a uninstall and still have the same problem unfortunately

Change the laptop monitor to 1080p - if that's what the game is.
Then when you regain control of the spacecraft - set the game and the monitor at the same rez. <---then reboot the house.

I have this exact issue but there is a fix for this.
Navigate to Device Manager and turn off your integrated graphics card.
I did this and the game loaded but unfortunately I cannot find a way to load the game with the iGPU enabled.

I can't seem to find the integrated graphics card in the device manager.
went to Device Manager- Display adapters
I see my 3080 in the device manager but not the integrated graphics (i have a I5-12600k)

Do you have geforce experience installed? You might be able to change the game setting from there. Optimize for game etc?

I changed the resolution from geforce experience just now and it didn't work either. I was really hoping that this would be the solution but unfortunately it wasn't. Thank you for the reply though

You don't want to set the graphics card resolution, you want to optimize the game.

Intel® UHD Graphics 770 is what to look for
