Which mod is best to fixx taa blur/ghosting?
When I stopped playing I couldn't unsee Arthur's soul trying to escape his body whenever I'd spin the camera. Plus the trails from rabbits and such running around. I noticed it got worse after the Naturalist update was released. Really bothered me after a bit, but I want to play again so yeah. Any fix to get rid of the blur/trails/ghosting from TAA, aside from turning it off and looking at shimmering skeletal trees?

Lookin to play at 1440p with high settings. 2080ti, 9900k, 32gb ram so my rig shouldn't be an issue.

1.5 scale + max taa sharping. Theres no way to fix except that. also you have to lower some graphic setting bcs 1.5 scale took fps but game looking perfect and clean.

I tried all available ingame options back when I was still playing, the blur is there as long as TAA is on regardless of other settings. That's why I was looking towards mods now.

I use this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/1429 , taa enhanced , you need mod manager to enable

I personally stopped using TAA altogether, DLSS Quality looks infinitely better. At least on my rig. Especially with the DLSS sharpening/auto exposure removed. Perhaps something to consider?

Do you use soft, sharp or balanced?

that would be a better gpu and/or a better monitor,
or use zero sharpening in the games settings , use the sharpening additive in the gpu's control panel.
amd +20 sharpening looks great with Taa set to high/ultra whatever the max in game is, with zero added in the games settings (also better framerate for some reason)
i assume nvidia has the same functionality and setting ,
the only time i experienced ghosting in the game is when i set my monitor to zero latency

balanced, it depends on your screen resolution, i recommend you to test them all

I have 1920x1080, i think soft looks best for me. But still not perfect. I would accept less details in a game, if just these horrible ghosting would go away. I hope they would focus more on that.

you can try mod fsr2.0, it uses a different method than taa, just use ultra quality on "dlss" settings

Usually anything ghosting is monitor related. You sure it´s not about that? Anything GSync, VSync, Overdrive, fps cap, response time, whatever the settings are called?

I never had any ghosting problems in the game, but i´m also on AMD. And my TAA doesn´t look half as bad as the pictures in the nexus mod - and i would even say it looks better than with the mod. I have some blurry tree leafs or in the distance it blurs out - i thought You all mean that with blurry TAA. The rest looks sharp - without any changes to sharpness settings it´s probably with more details than the picture posted by the other one here in the thread - even on non-ultra settings, but that´s hard to say as it´s not in 1440 resolution.

2080ti and a 144hz 1440p monitor, my equipment is not the issue. Hell, ghosting wasn't even a real issue until around the time of The Naturalist update. That screwed things up.

I checked many things but can't find any driver/monitor setting that fixes it. I have a GTX 960, it is kind of outdated, I know. I am not sure if DLSS works on a GTX 960.
