red dead collectors map not working? or sync?

hello, anyone notice how the interactive map ''jeanropke'' is not wokring or displaying proper locations?

is the map not updated?
not syncing proerly?
any ideas? got back into game and noticed 80% dose not work on that map anymore?

thoughts or ideas please

Works fine. Maybe you have metal detector dig sites broken? If yes then it's ingame bug not the map.

The game changed.
All Collector Items are now randomized.
The 'jean' map shows the locations, but the items are randomized. <---or some are.
Google the details - I'm Trading ATM and can't do it for you (read: don't want to).

300 hours and still looking for a Topaz Necklace (not too hard, mind you - it's gonna have to fall out of the sky near my Trader Camp) - I feel your pain (somewhat).

i get that, but the site shows a location, i go there and NOTHING is there.

digging, metal detection, ect. i get it the items are randomized but when look at the online site and it clearly shows a location for a item to acquire, and it is not at the location in game, what is the problem there?

and its not just me, my spouse has this exact same issue we see the location on the site, go there, try to dig/ use metal detector and nothing happens. everything else works cards, bracelets, those locations are good. welp flowers dont work either so im not sure WTF is happening but for me that site.. is 70% not working

Oh, maybe your Collector is broken - happens after an update - unfortunately:

1) quit game
2) disable ONE DRIVE - if applicable
3) delete Player file
4) upon restarting the game - it will ask you what you want to do.
5) select the player file - on R*'s Cloud, review and continue.
6 new Player file downloaded from R* - Game Starts - should fix Collector
7) works every time at my house.

nope, we still cant dig, or use metal detector...... WTH is this game so broken for?!

I just dug up a necklace (not the one I'm looking for, of course) and my first fossil.

I thought for a moment the light on the metal detector wasn't working, but I see it at night. I can hear the thing ticking in daylight.

I followed the 'jean' map right to the items.

You have an automatic backup and restore working for you - or something else is preventing the absolute 'replacement' of your Player file... that's all I can imagine at this point.

Alternatively another player got to that location shortly before you and got the item. Try changing your session, or come back to the location a little later to allow some time for the item to respawn.

The interactive map is as accurate as it can be, but it can't take into account other players getting to the locations before you do.
