save game?

i was in mid mission and quit the game, now it made me start the mission all over again, is there anyway to save game mid mission?

You CAN hit L and go back to a checkpoint when you're in a mission.

Eventually, you'll learn to manually save BEFORE the mission - and again after in another slot. You'll also manually save every 10 to 15 minutes in a running save.

damn, this is the only thing stopping me form completing the game..

This is a problem in the game many missions are long with no save at least in story mode ya can pause it and some of the cut scenes ya can skip through but they need to have it to where ya can skip any cutscene so when ya replay its not so boring .. a great thing though is you can redo a check point and even skip a checkpoint but for example since bounty timers have not been fixed in the online mode (some are 1 min. which is impossible ) ... it seems they are simply not going to correct some abhorrent things about the game and cause to continue to deal with some of the silly aspects of it. Scale of 1 - 10 its a 7 maybe 8 but could be a 10 with a few tweaks. Some things so glaringly idiotic its at times a 6.
