You can skip some cutscenes once in.
The stills are preferable to a spinning disc icon, IMO. You can't start the game until it's loaded into memory. That takes some time, the length determined by your storage device.
Maybe you don't know, but just by eliminating the intro videos, usually by just renaming them or otherwise removing them, you can speed up the starting time tremendously. I do this with every game I play. I would encourage you to try it yourself, this often times speeds up loading times from 10 seconds to about 2 seconds.
I just wondered if this is possible with RDR2, and on top of that, maybe directly start the story mode instead of loading the unnecessary boot menu.
