Trapper Saddles are the best - doesn't matter which one - I just get them all.

I use "Gerden Trail Saddle (Improved)" and "Bell Stirrup" - i like the look

As a note, Saddle and tack that has better stats is not "needed", imo.

Your horse speed and motion is tightly controlled during any Gang Missions (except when you Race Dutch), and you can outrun Bounty Hunters on pretty much any horse/gear combo.

And the Horseman Challenges can easily be done with any horse/gear also - with 20% of the time to spare.

But Horse Stamina tonics do come in handy sometimes.
