The General Idea is:
Gather the Rock Carving Locations - Finish the Quest - Craft the Talisman - then remove it if you want to.
You can try to Verify Game Files.
You can return your game to Vanilla - by removing those mods that have broken your game.
Your other option is to:
Get used to it.
I have multiple QoL mods, I don't really want to play vanilla again. Are you sure it's a mod that has done this? I can't think of any mod I have that would cause this, and enough people had this problem online that I assume it's a vanilla bug.
It's too ugly for me to ignore.
Then I suppose that eventually you'll get used to it.
When your mods the game and you can't remove them - you play a broken game.
You seem to misunderstand what I meant, it's not that I can't remove the mods, it's that I won't because they make the game experience better. The mods aren't broken, if they were I would remove them. We already established that this is a vanilla bug with the amount of people that encountered this bug when it released on PC before people had even made any mods.
