"Nexus Mods" tends to be reliable.
You simply download the mod and follow the install directions.
But use some caution - some mods are out of date, and even some of the updated ones can cause the game to act a bit buggy.
Other users will chime in eventually with their recommendations
ScriptHook2 for all mod loading
and for a god mode/dev mode you'll probably want:
Rampage trainer
get Rampage Trainer and then Lenny's simple trainer (a lot of mods require it}
get Red Dead Offline (for online guns and items, not a lot for clothing)
get WhyEm's DLC (A LOT of clothing)
and many other
I strongly advise you learn how to install - AND - Uninstall any mods you use.
There WILL come a time when you need to go Vanilla.
Guaranteed.

Generally speaking - 'most' of those are safe for human consumption, but that's not saying they won't break the game.
These don't break the game (I'm currently using them - and can remove them in a moment):
The latest Script Hook will always be here:

(when the game updates - this will update later - Alex does live in The Ukraine, soooo... yea - a few days, give or take)
It is a hard space to navigate but yeah. taking out frustrations on single player modders working for free is about as backwards as it gets. That said online frameworks are subject to modders/hackers and their selling of their scammy programs. I understand both sides of this issue, it is a frustrating concept to deal with.
There are lovers of the game who spend their own time improving the experience, and then there are the scumbags who make money from well funded kids who want auto aim bots and god mode hacks and the like.
how are you set for beads ?
you're gonna need some beads if you plan on going all mod ,
how many pairs of sandals do you own ? you will need 2 pair , the casual everyday sandals and a dress pair for evenings out at the hippie love-ins
