The game won't start
I installed RDR2 last year and it worked just fine, I even downloaded mods for play.
But now, I can't even start the game, when I tried to start the game Rockstar Game Launcher said "this social club account doesn't own red dead online" or "This feature is not currently available"

I have tried reinstall it twice, verified the game files, deleted the Launcher, Social Club folders in My Documents, Deleted Local Profile, but the game just won't lauch.

Here is likely where your problem lies.

Verifying Game Files only verifies the files the game uses - it doesn't delete any files that aren't game files.

Uninstall the game.
Seek and Destroy - Manually - ANY folder or file associated with RDR2 - and they'll be in several places.

When you have cleansed the AO of all RDR2 material - reinstall the game - from steam.

Give RDR2 and it's Launcher a Clean Pass in your firewall and virus protection.
Disable your VPN if applicable (couldn't hurt for now) - or give RDR2, Steam and The Launcher a Clean Pass through a Split Tunnel.

i have the same problem. When I start RDR2 from steam, and it starts a rockstar redirector program and then start rockstar platform. but the game won't start. the rockstar platform just shows: "this feture is not currently available", and there's a button: 'play it on steam' , after click it, just start the game from steam and go to another loop. searched for many solutions for nearly one year, but still I just can't open the game.

R* published an update a couple weeks ago that broke more mods than usually. You need to update the mods from the sites you downloaded them. Mods like scripthook and lml were broken but a they made a new update for them and all works for me after updating them.

The mod breaking is very deliberate and is part of Rockstar Games ongoing mod elimination process. Just recently there has been a massive surge in the use of mods for antisocial purposes, including griefing and hacking of game elements, and as such any person found to be using these mods is likely to be the subject of an account termination without warning and the withdrawing of their game privileges.

Being proved to be using hacks or mods within the online community is immediate grounds for an account suspension or termination because of the players (mainly chinese, russian and korean) who use them predominately to grief others.

I don't have any mods installed at the moment.

I'm currently in the process of reinstalling the game, I'll be sure to try this method if other methods didn't work out, thank you.
