Like if you needed to do something horrible (or fun) to 5 guys - and there are only 4 in a small gang hideout - do that awful thing to 3 of them, then ride away until the 'red' goes off the map - the camp will have respawned and resupplied with 4 fresh targets. Go back - they'll even welcome you (right before they start shooting) - then suffer your abuse - it's a hoot.

Another home, that is part of a Companion Activity Robbery can be robbed beforehand - then robbed in mission - then robbed again later. That particular home may keep going tho the payout could dwindle down quite a bit.
Then, on the other hand - some people you kill, you could use later - if they weren't dead.
Your actions do have consequences.
You could rob them and not kill them (a bit more skill needed for the extra challenge).
Who does that tho?
(I do - in fact there's a strong chance I don't rob them either - kinda busy making myself rich legally, but that's my game - not yours).
