RDR1 is getting an overhaul - and likely a port/rework to PC.
From what I've seen above - No Thanks.
If I have to play as Dumbass John - It's gonna have to "WOW" me from one end to the other.
No reason to apologize.
You just need to
1. download a emulator,
2. and use a Iso file from RDR.

You can either mountyour RDR disc (if you own the game) or download the game.
The reason why I dont tell you to type "RDR ISO XBOX360 DOWNLOAD" into Google is because its technically not legal.
Its an ethical decision and up to you.
I dont have those settings anymore due to hardware change but the settings are pretty straight forward.
Just open the xenia.config file and change the values to your likings. There are also some Youtube clips which help you for starters.
Dont use pre-config files from other users. Every PC is unique and those settings depend on your hardware.
This should help you.

While it is true that RDR 1 is being released for PC but as a port and not as a remaster, playing it on a emulator is and will be a decent alternative for all folks who
- do not want to pay 50 bucks for a 14 year old port, which is not even a remastered version of the game
In addition to that, the emulator version also comes with a
- native 4k support
- 144hz support
-ultrawide support
-keyboard and mouse support
- FSR support
and you wont need to be online/ no need for Rockstar/3rd party launchers in order to be able to play the game.
And they wont charge you anything, if you already own a copy of RDR.
I am not saying that people should not buy the official PC port, Im gonna do that myself during the next sale just to have this masterpiece in my library, but that the emulator version is still a pretty good alternative if you want to enjoy this game without spending 50 bucks.
Folks are playing RDR on PC for years now, and its getting better optimized each and every year.
Doesnt look too shabby, does it?
