You might want to turn off "Defense Mode," it really does nothing other than put a target on you that says "I don't want to be shot," and that's exactly who these miscreant-players want to target.
Defense Mode in this game is less-than-useless. o_o
And in truth, in most MMOs, Female characters tend to be treated nicer.
As we all know, RDO is built as Player vs. Player.
There is no "safe" way to play RDO - other players can ALWAYS decide to ignore the penalty and kill any other players (even in "Defensive" mode).
This happens often to everyone that plays - from both griefers, cheaters, and simply other players that only play RDO for the PvP "experience".
And while i can understand some of your frustration, let's try to stay focused on the game and not bash entire countries in some sort of self-righteous soapboxing.
what is happening in Europe, are We all players Focused in something. But I thinks what ever game there is going on, you should respect other players.
I'm not sure what the OP is talking about, but this is just plain wrong. I guess it depends on how you define being "treated nicer", but unless you like being harassed or hit on constantly then I'd say no.
Just in this game, in my personal experience a friend who used a female avatar was harassed by a group of player making creepy comments in their first hour of play. I, with my male avatar never experienced that, at all.
Anecdotal as that may be it is just a microcosm of the BS that certain people have to put up with.
In any event, I don't think there's anything to be done about folks preferentially attacking female character models in RDO. It's not as though you can keep score, and it's not the sort of game where you would know the player's gender.
Please stop behaving so toxic, you are hurting the community. You people are hard enough to live with IRL, stop ruining fantasy worlds too. What you should do is correct your own behavior so it's not spreading toxicity in to the community according to some wonky social gender politics. This is make believe not reality, thank you for being understanding.
Happy gaming and shooting from and in your back.
Thank you, and be happy :)
