Mine seems to always spin clock-wise. I think. But yeah I've noticed that some 2 or 3 days ago. It happens often after the game crashes. It's definetly not same white icon, it's glowish yellow sorta golden colour. It doesn't corespond to anything, like, there isn't an instance where somehtign happens and it will always be that yellow icon popping up afterwards the incident that has happened. Just out of the blue sometimes that yellow cylinder appears, a bit to top lef tof usual position, spins few times and then game main menu loads, or loading inot map screen appears, or defaulth white cylinder appears. It's mostly whne game launches or you click play form menu and such Idk if it has happened when I was alrdy in the game during like fast travel or mission start/end screen or such. It's definetly a thing tho. I'll try to get a screenshot of it next time if the steam overlay doesn't cuck me like it usually does and paints my screenshot pitch black.
Thx. That would explain why it appears most often during boot up after crash.
There's a yellow one that rarely appears. Read the guy's comment above.

By chance did you modify or a file in the game ? Sometimes it is caused by editing a file in the games directory & was not saved properly, best thing to do ( if you did mess with the game file ) is to delete said file & run the "Verify game integrity" for the game after deleting the file that was modified by you.
In other cases the game files could become corrupt for some reason & would need to be replaced by running the Verify in order for it to be restored.
Also make sure that you have above the recommended Specs to run the game. Some game settings can also cause the issue to happen.
I haven't edited the game files myself. I tried changing the API, and also completely deleting the configuration folder, and also tried deleting files in the save folder except for files starting with SRDR3000. The file checker keeps telling me about 4 damaged files, but for some reason it can't fix them. The PC is pretty good for it - RTX 3080 Ti, Core i7 12700f and 32 GB of RAM. Alternatively, you can try completely deleting the folder in the documents directory or reinstalling the game. But I don’t want to download more than 100 Gb.
I tried all this and unfortunately it didn’t help. Today I deleted the folder from the documents directory and it still didn’t help. As a result, I am now reinstalling the game. Thanks for the help!
