RAM help
so i can't run the game above the barest minimum settings in windowed mode, i, not being great with computers, saw that the message was saying "graphics settings exceed video memory" so i checked my computer and saw it only had 1 8gb ram card and bought another one thinking that would solve the issue, i now find out the graphics card uses it's own, separate ram, my question is this: Is there any way for me to fix this without spending more money, or was my purchase a waste?

GeForce GTX 1050

Total Available Graphics Memory: 10215MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 2048MB
System Video Memory: 0MB
Shared System Memory: 8167MB

The game is referring to video ram not system ram. Video ram you have 2gb and system you have 8 ( or is it 16 now?) Anyways, unlock the advanced options and try messing with the resolution scale mode and turn it to .8 or .75. use vulkan and slide the preset to low and bump it up until texture turns to ultra, so a few clicks from low.
