Can't give Lenny a watch

Lenny wants a pocket watch. I have 2 different kinds but the option to give him one is always grayed out. Any idea why?

I've noticed sometimes the options that are grayed out aren't supposed to be (press the button anyway) sometimes it works. It's just a bug that hasn't been fixed yet. If nothing happens, then you've got the wrong item. There are a few types of watches in the game, sorry that I can't think of them all off the top of my head.

You cant just give him any watch. It has to be a specific one.

had same problem with dutch´s pipe! But game is buggy here and there! They copy+pasted their product to pc with same errors like on console ! like the ranch-bug in epilogue

I wasn't able to give it to him while he was "on patrol" around the camp. I've kept 1 silver, gold and plat pocket watch on me for a while now, and it wasn't until I found him walking around his tent did it let me give him the silver one
