what the driver, nah that can't be right. you don't see games update for every Nvidia driver now do you.
There's a difference between drivers and graphics APIs bro. DX12 for example is not the same as the Nvidia drivers.
bro, nvm found it.
(Vulkan 1.2 support is available in Windows driver version 441.99 and Linux driver version 440.48.02. These drivers also contain other new features, performance enhancements and bug fixes for Vulkan developers and enthusiasts.)
beta nvidia drivers, maybe now i can actually play the darn game.

its a good logic, look at your bios for motherboards, the board's hardware is the same but the bios has newer updated code, so your "old" motherboard works a bit better. same for drivers and api's, the reason being for this "smart ass" is otherwise drivers would not be backward compatible. yes the game is not going to use any of the new vulkan 1.2 stuff, BUT the new driver with 1.2 vulkan command is better to run older vulkan... you know what, F-it your not going to understand anyways, your not open minded ehnuff to understand this logic.
