Lumber for father?

So went to the Lumber yard and all i can do is sell stuff to the foreman....doesn't mention buying lumber from him...tried waiting a few days.....have yet to free Micha from Strawberry.....cause ♥♥♥♥ em do i need to wait till after i do that to buy lumber lol?

If there's a wagon with wood on it - steal it.
If there's a wagon with wood on it near the butcher in Valentine - steal it.

I always give the guy $100 bucks.
I got too much going on to go fiddle with a wood wagon.

I always go back in a few days to get paid, 'cause if you wait too long, the house is sold, the guy is gone along with your money.

The whole thing is time sensitive and most people miss the ending and the getting paid.

ive seen 2 wagons but neither had lumber on it

Yea, it's a PITA.
You have to prep the Lumber company by doing their missions before you see the Father, so next playthru you can do that, or just give him the C-Note.

When I see him I'm usually standing there with 12-15 thousand dollars. If I pooped I'd wipe myself with $100 bills so what do I care?...lol

I just make sure to stick pretty close to Valentine - picking Indian Tobacco is a good way to pass the time and there's plenty of it right there in that area. You can also play poker, or filet if you're working on Gambler challenges, or run a Bounty Mission while you wait and keep an eye on him.
