Collector Role Issue

Is anyone having troubles with the collector role at the moment? I can't seem to open collector maps or use the metal detector/shovel.

I'm a rank 20 collector and every single time I open a map it tells me that I'm not a high enough rank collector and the maps aren't available. I've restarted the game, changed servers etc. My partner who I'm in a posse with most of the time isn't having any issues at all. I've contacted Rockstar support.

everything is fine here bro, im also collector. im level 8 almost level 9

It makes no sense whatsoever. I've tried again today with no luck. From what I've found on reddit a similar thing happened in Sept last year. I just don't understand why I seem to be the only one with the problem.

basic collector role bug. happened to me 5x ever since the bug started.

you'll have to remove some files from your documents folder,
as reminder: Don't straight up delete the files, but CUT and relocate,
so you can always restore it if needed.

but this fix works for plenty of people for the collector role issues.

Had that error myself a few times, fixed it using what IDwLoD states.

Still working as of now.

Thanks guys! Just did that and it’s fixed all the issues! 😊

Only thing I noticed was my health and stamina circles weren’t there, just my dead eye lol.

i had that happen to me , couldnt use any maps , do they expire ? the next time i play i'm going to see if i buy new maps and if they work
nope cant just replace the maps , but the fix shown above does work , the odd thing that did happen is my horse controls reverted , just horse , nothing else

I don't believe they do expire, well not that I know of! You will be able to replace the maps. Yeah I did that last night and my game works perfectly now!

Oh that's odd... hopefully it fixes itself haha
